The Jeep Wrangler has long been a favorite among compact SUVs for drivers who need this vehicle’s outstanding off-roading capabilities and powerful V6 engine.
Once you have chosen the 2017 Wrangler for your next vehicle, though, you still need to choose the configuration and options that best suit your lifestyle.
Here is what you need to know about the 2017 Jeep Wrangler trim levels, each of which is available in either a two-door or four-door Unlimited body style.
Sport
The base trim of the Wrangler is best for drivers who want minimal features at a great value. With the Wrangler Sport, you’ll get a USB port and eight speaker stereo. Most other comfort features, such as air conditioning, are optional. The Wrangler Sport is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 and paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
Sport S
This upgrade has the same powertrain as the Sport and features standard air conditioning. Other differences are mainly stylistic, such as 17″ satin-silver wheels instead of 16″ steel and leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Power windows and locks are optional on this model.
Sahara
This mid-range Jeep Wrangler model incorporates additional standard features, including power windows and locks, auxiliary power outlet and satellite radio. A heavy-duty suspension with gas shocks enhances off-roading capabilities. Stylistic updates include 18″ polished wheels with granite crystal pockets.
Rubicon
This model is built for those who prize off-roading performance over all else, incorporating additional standard features like performance suspension, rock rails and an advanced four-wheel-drive system with locking front and rear differentials and a 4:1 low-gear ratio for low-speed crawls.

In addition to the four main trims and two main body configurations, Jeep is offering several limited-edition Wrangler models for 2017. Those that are currently available include:
